Quite interesting the market yesterday, wasn't it? Frankly I thought it'd settle at a higher price than the current one...but the big guy showed upgrin. Maybe it's not ready to move up yet.

Anyway, glad to jump in again, with better position than I used to have and with a very nice profit at the cryptomarket due to the cashout I did several days ago.

I hope everyone is doing great at cryptos and in the near future here on MTV. I don't wanna miss it

The RPs were on a good way. They started to get more expensive. Thanks to those members who sell them for a dumping price. It's rediculous.

NO COLUMBINE, IT'S NOT SELLING AT DUMPING PRICE. NEVER WAS.

The market has been stable for months, this has made steady 10%+ to all those small RP holders who had the patience to wait for their bids to complete and grow their holdings that way.

None of you big whales have that patience to keep growing an smaller but steady earning like us. You want to make zillions on a huge and glorious blaze of fire, but don't really care that you burn others in the process. And when you get itchy and change the rules in a minute, with your pumps and dumps you screw us big time when we're not around to move our bids out of your destructive way. Always screwing the smaller guy. After all, it's all about that you make an earning and nothing else.

So yes Columbine and others, you greedy whales can enjoy the RPs you bought "cheap", but know that you are not at all nice people doing what you do and take away the fun that others can have

IMO Rps was created for give dividends to holders, Clear the ftq and start sharing dividends will be the more reliable way to make them more valuable. Forum hipes or fuds just have minimal results.

Higher crypto prices should benefit the whole site in general. More ad dollars, more gambling money, and more investment dollars. Plus you have Marc's trading going on behind the scenes too.

When crypto does well, we do well. That seems to be the pattern.

Indeed, and thanks for the quote

interesting how the likes come from medium sized and small investors and the dislikes come from whales.

Geez, It's good for you guys to play games and have fun, but not to kill everybody else's fun

@claudinho
yep. that way RPs have real value. What has happened a day ago, was pure hype. Thought so many here were done with playing hype games after the one we don't name left MTV... guess I was wrong and people didn't learn anything from the experience

So active BAP and total BAP dropped by ~7.5 and ~5 million respectively.

https://www.paidverts.com/ads_charts.html

Was it the market washout that caused this to happen? If so, this makes a huge case for us to be more active in the marketplace either as individuals or as the company in general.

"yesterday?"

4,870,703

That's the BAP fee removed from the big day of the 17th from the market.

Not just BAP, Friday over $600 in revenue from RP transfer.
That show`s  an active RP market is great for the company.

Not yesterday, Druth.

So those 4.8mm BAP removed in fees equals $2,400 in BAP ads that we don't need to pay cool

Any of my bids put on the market used to cycle in a little over two weeks before Hoppa's $6k blocks appeared. After that, the bids I had cycled in over 2 months.
THAT was what killed the activity.
The case goes for being moderate and making smaller bids. Everybody wins that way.

this also shows that something need to be done about those big players that control the market. as always they are stalling the market

In my opinion....there should be a maximum amount of shares up for sale per user. i think 100K shares  for sale on the market total should be the max. a handfull of people wont be happy but it will benefit the company and all the users that use the market except the greedy big ones that kills everything

We need those small ones to be able to do daytrading as well to keep the market moving all the time to remove bap and to gain more profit as well

By clogging up the market the big guys only hurt themselves.

Sometimes you can make more by trying to make less.

The problem is that if one steps out four others step in.

If the company wanted to stimulate the market (and now that legacy debt is paid off) they could split profit share between the FTQ and buying RPs.

Buying RPs would encourage others to buy RPs and at some point in the future they could sell them back to the market (at a higher price) and wipe the FTQ debt much quicker.

Then dividends could return and further stimulate demand for RPs.

I don't see it right that the company starts buying RPs to stimulate the market and eventually, drive up price. We've been there before, and look where it took us. ermm

People who wants to buy RPs will buy, and people who doesn't want to buy will do something else.
Payment of dividends should be the only RP price up driver.

In the meanwhile, until we get to the point of paying them, be clever investors, keep their price as cheap as possible, and keep up the hoarding. It will pay off! wink
