I worked yesterday and today on a file uploading and dev server configurations. Results are: - We can upload files to all the www servers simply by running one script. Previously, we needed to do it manually (nightmare when you have 4 servers). It took time and wasn't very reliable as you couldn't upload everything in parallel. - We can upload assets just like any other files (they are on the balancer). - We can upload current live files directly to the dev server and configure it also by one click. - Dev server is working - Dev infrastructure is completely separated (local DB, Redis, etc.). Live DB can be also used to check some special cases. I hope, we'll catch much more issues now before going live Later today I will aim to clear all 101 pending BitCoin tickets. BitCoin is working fine for new deposits; these are just old issues from last week. I cleared all the other pending deposits for other processors last night. The translations should be on their way; Paul is logging a whole bunch of hours on it (translating the first version to Polish)... Then we'll open it up, and request user translations for every other which language! And our BAP debt removal is rocketing ahead; yesterday, even after giving away all the BAP ads; we cleared 20,424,785 net profit. That's $10,212.39 worth of debt removed... I wonder at what point all this debt removal "becomes apparent". As 10 days like that and you're talking $100k. Over a year, you're looking at nearly $4million. And the system should be making all that money anyway; so there's going to be a fortune in excess money flying around. But I suppose if we're always growing, then that'll soak it up uneventfully. But this is looking good! And when we get targeted ads double-dipping on the debt removal. So for every 1 share you own now, you'll own 5 new ones. And 5 new ones = 1 current one. No difference what so ever. Share splits have no impact on anything! So there's absolutely no reason not to do them. And I think they hold a big psychological impact for buyers; As imaginging a $0.20 increasing 50x to $10 is harder to imagine than $0.02 increasing to $1... And on a shorter scale, imaginging a 2x price rise from $0.02 to $0.04 is much easier than $0.20 to $0.40. Plus if shares can be bought for dust... then people will be more likely to invest in them I think. As it costs them "nothing"; and they might grow to crazy money. And finally, I think our shares are way under valued for the potential they hold. So anything that encourages people to see that, is a good thing I reckon! * The only potential issue with this, is if we have a tiny turnover week (less than $20k invested) there won't be a dividend issued; it'll instead be rolled over to the next week. Splitting shares at the first tought looks like it will increase the share price, and it will. But, splitting shares creates more shares in circulation, so in the long term it will be more dificult to sell them. This is how I see it. I have no experience in the sharemarket... ---- And in my opinion changing the login with our email instead of the username should have a higher priority than to decreasing the fee to %0.25.
