I understand this comes with the growth we are experiencing... but all the same, the abusers are equally growing too and some are pretty smart. We certainly need to find a smarter way of handling this... like looking into SolidSnake's suggestions... If we let things go like this... we are seriously risking the reputation of Paidverts especially in the eyes of the cooperate guys. We have both.  BA-795407 PV is the only PTC site not being able to control these kinds of advertisers banners and thats the reason why we see more and more of them as that appears to be allowed. It is not good at all for its reputation!!!  When I opened this topic, my aim was to warn and help Jo and his team about this problem but it took so much directions that this topic became a free-for-all. Why dont we come back to roots? We want to stop these banners because 1- many members are bothered, 2- PV is not the place where to use this kind of ads and 3- its reputation is been slowly detroyed because of it that is a shame.  Keep it simple. Instead of thinking about what is allowed and what is not, it could be so easy to close this topic by writing only one small sentence in TOS:  Banners to advertise sites must be in relation with these sites. For example, using a banner with a woman to promote a PTC or Revenue Share site is not allowed. If you fail to comply with this term, your ad will be deleted, you will lose BAP and your account could be closed.  Period............ Nothing more, nothing less.  Jo could mention this new term in one of his daily news and it could be announced for a few days on the first page when we enter the forum. This will calm down many members!!! I understand why we had all these reactions and be assured that these banners bother me as much as you. As I have written many times, PV is not the place for this kind of banners. When all members (with needed number of shares) will have access to panel, it will be great but it doesnt solve the problem permanently. We have to target this problem at the root. Only one small sentence can resolve it. The day we will have a real forum with mods and control, not a free-for-all like now, a specific topic can be opened to report sites and banners violating TOS. People see that these images are attracting huge attention. So in turn more people are using them on the site to advertise various things. The internet is open to everyone worldwide there is not much anyone alone can do to control it. If anyone other then you the user sees the site and these images just explain it to them. This site is open to anyone in the world to advertise. You cannot control what other people choose to display here.  Once the shareholder panel is fully implimented there will be 1000s of members all working towards cleaning up stuff like this. It is only a matter of time before this is no longer an issue. I recommend that people just stop with these posts and to try and ignore them for now. Great job and cooperation.  Currently when looking at my PV ads page, I see 3 X square windows (disabled) with 2 relevant banners. It is really pleasant and relaxing to surf in my account without having to watch this kind of banners. And its better for PV/MTV reputation.  What do you think of my proposition suggested yesterday?
