Are we going to get some kind of summary on how MTV performed last December / last year?
Any views on this year?

Now that most of Simpocalypse's development is done, does MTV spend less on this game / maybe get some revenue. So, does this mean break-even point of MTV is easier to reach every month, making it easier to free money for the FTQ?

until the game reaches the goal of making 150k -200k $ of sales revenue dont think that money will go for FTQ, This goes first to break even game costs (at this point 52,5k goes to mtv) only if it reaches that amount of course, becouse i guess there are fixed cost we have to pay first.
If i remember correctly from the last update we only got 4,5 k. Lets hope it gets better.

Revenues of the game will help revenues/pay off FTQ as soon as they are received (usually simplest way is invoice deduction to avoid extra fees), not when the game makes X amount. Revenues from Steam are paid in the following month (i.e. December's are paid by end of January), so revenues will start having an impact with a 1-2 month delay, but then have an impact consistently. We're planning for the full launch around end of March, up to which point monthly revenues will most likely be in the 2-10k range, after we do the full launch (March or April at the very latest if we choose to delay for additional marketing purposes) they're expected to increase significantly, especially in the launch month.

Correct, 35% is a rough estimate, I hope in the end the distribution of taxes etc. is realistically a percent or two more, every bit will be helpful

Slosumo, today was my login ad again outbid by MTV. At least I got my money back this time.
But I don't know what is the point of overbidding the bought ad?
Why would you give that money, that was earned by MTV with login ads, back? For me, it doesn't make sense.

@klemen Do you remember which ad you were outbid by? Helps me know who to ask/check with - if you don't remember, I'll have a look later, but would save a bit of time if you remember the ad that overrode yours .

I see thanks. Then it has to be a similar case as before - as you bought during a major discount, the bid was lower than the current minimum bid, and it is not visible as if someone bid on it, so no way for someone setting it up to know in such a case if there was an actual bid made before.

I've set up a task for this to make it clearer the last time this happened to you, but the past few months it's been near impossible to get anything other but some urgencies sorted by our programmer. I'm just checking today with him, and will re-prioritize this one so it gets finally sorted.

We've just changed something regarding a forced https redirect on MTV, as it didn't force redirect to https in some cases - i.e. if writing mytrafficvalue.com/login on the page, it wouldn't redirect to https while logging in.

Could some of you please log out, navigate to mytrafficvalue.com/login and let me know if it properly forces https on you, and you can then properly continue to login and all of the website works properly for you?

Ok Slosumo, thank you. I hope it will get sorted soon, because MTV probably loses a lot of money this way.....or am I the only one buying login ads?

On the discount days, I buy login ads for few months in advance. But if this is not working properly, I will not do that anymore.

I still have one more login ad this month and one in February. I hope that by then, everything will be sorted out.

About forced https redirection on MTV.......I did try it and it worked fine for me.

I logged out and tried to log in by writing mytrafficvalue.com/login in address bar and it gave me this message:

404 Page Not Found

I have a strange problem recently I have to reset my PV and MTV Password every day because somehow it always says my password is wrong.

Plus I get a "Spam" Popup each time I open Paidverts...

i remember something similair happened to me in the past as well. i am not sure but i think i did a big clean up on my laptop to resolve it.
- remove cookies
- remove history
- run ccleaner
- restart computer

there can also be a conflict with an extention

I have had the same issue for years. Not everyday. It comes in streaks. (no issue w PTC Share)
Tried it all. Clearing cookies, etc but nothing has worked so far.

Usually not a huge hassle but once in awhile, the email system doesn't work to reset your password& you can't post on MTV to tell them the issue.

If that happens. Go to the PV and MTV facebook pages. Send them a message & comment on the most recent post & they will get word about the emails being down to the right people.

Page: 1, 2, 3, 4, ... , 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, ... , 106, 107, 108
