Well I tried NOT to get my score docked by 5%, but to no avail.

Don't have WZ open and go to CI right away?

I don't want to end up in 4th place through no fault of my own when the round figures out where I'm at.

And now I can't get in though I was just in WZ as well.

I have to say i'm not to happy with the new format of Country Invasion. Being a small country i'm doing this on my own. I am now stuck as every day it takes me back to the camp before the boss camp. If i order an air strike, sure i get past the boss camp but i get no spoils so totally useless. Not only that, but what spoils i do get are small. Now with no way of getting any significant BS i cannot upgrade so it's pretty much game over. In order for this game to have any longevity you need to at the very least allow the user to continue where they left off the previous day on the boss camps.

Current CI format is far from perfect sad
Our country leader suddenly does only fraction of his normal damage in CI just to complete daily mission and we are stuck at base 110 since tuesday.

Wjesiu you are better then the USA we stuck on 95 right now. Yeah i think BTL need to be changed to a fight until you bet it as even if you air strike it in another 5 bases you going to be stuck again. Since the rewards are still so low for the 4 bases between BTL people are not getting enough BS to upgrade there DPC to improve their chances of BTL.

Hence my previous post about Country Invasion....  

To clarify some things about it:

I'm not just proposing that just for the sake of getting things free and avoid paying for better stuff. However i don't think the current situation with Country Invasion should be thought like a way to "force sales" nor that it needs a new complete rework either.... it is fine just except for one thing.

What i wanted to solve is the feeling of getting stuck / blocked in the game. People SHOULDN'T reach a point where their effort is NULL, and that's is what i'm looking at in some previous posts.

Yes, giving away your free gold for the country is an option, but it is taking from you the ability to make other important choices as well. I don't think might be good for most of the playerbase.

For advantages, this is done by things like the starter kit, the gold enhancements on Boot Camp, and the enhancements for 2x/3x dpc in Country Invasion. It makes you think in making choices by adding nice elements in the game instead of taking them from you, and that is fun.

That's why i thought the game needs a way to earn passive country gold. People should in a matter of days, get past that one, otherwise, some will feel they are completely stuck, getting super outpaced by others and they might eventually just abandon the game.

Simple example:

Country A is close to Country B in terms of score / competitions. Country B is winning, Base 80. Country A is at Base 79.

Country B is stuck at Base 80. They decide they won't donate country gold and they might spend 1 month / a lot of time while they get their dpc raised by competitions / lucky double dpc bonuses / Very slowly buying upgrades to get base 80 Done.

Country A collectively, or some players, cannot beat 80 either, but they donate enough amount in few days to get an airstrike. They advance. Once they reach 85 they might have to do the same, or not. They have all the spoils up to the base 85 than the other country didn't get by being stuck so maybe their players are already in better standings.

My idea is just to get Country A get past base 80 by whatever happens first, they permanently/strategically enhance their dpc to break the line and keep the spoils, or they either get enough Country Gold (combining passively and donations) and wipe it at the cost of losing the spoils. Either way, both countries made their choices and A is still ahead.

The thing is instead of an unknown amount of time Country A can predict when will they break the line and have more choices available. It is easier for the players to keep interest in the game when they know what they might accomplish over time.

If they are going to add more options to country gold in the future, fine, then rework my idea or think others to something that doesn't involve gold, for example, something comes to my mind without thinking much into it:

After fighting the line, a percentage of the damage received, converts into a permanent small reduction of the line's hp based in some factor, so the next time you fight that base again, it comes with full hp, but less hp and less rewards, so Countries will eventually break them but it held you back for a few days and you didn't get full spoils, thus in some way, it keeps the purpose of being a wall, but doesn't leave you permanently *****ed. I think this is the toxic element that needs to be removed ASAP.

The bad side of this kind of solutions is that they get more complex and require more programming time, things like recording states in a database, etc.

The passive country gold on the other hand can be implemented ASAP and the earning factor can be adjusted.

^I feel some of that post was directed towards my comments, and I want to say that personally, I feel that Boss Bases even if they take 2 days or 10 days are enough of an incentive to spend 5K Country Gold for those who would buy Gold in the first place vs the bases around it. You can get a decent advantage via BTL the 5s and having a few big players with 3x and 2x DPC active vs  just taking multiple days on each Boss Base, which has the reward (besides some GOLD) ~ the nearby bases are worth EACH.

Meaning, all that needs to happen is for Boss Bases just need the damage to remain day to day wherever it was left off the previous day, just like the rest. No other change needed. If someeone with $ wants to buy GOLD to BTL, more power to them, the rest of us won't be stuck for too long, though we won't get as much BS, per avg day/week, b/c the boss Base doesn't have as much and we had to slog through it.


RE Passive Country Gold, I'm not sure if you gave examples, but that is an idea. Country Gold is only for the Country, so just like other places you get GOLD throughout gameplay you could get say 1 Country GOLD per TC/SPW/CI/BASE/lvlup/rankup/defend/ad try and maybe even stuff on BC like deploy/bribe every new set of 100 (probably lifetime aka only 1 for each of 10 1500's, 1 for each 10 of 1600s, and once you build back up you can't get GOLD until you surpass previous 100s) etc

Again, more players in your country the more ability you have to benefit, but it helps move things along for the smallest countries as well, esp when we get to the 150s and onwards.

This has happened to me twice. I kill the base and move onto the next base. I receive no credit even though I keep clicking on the next base. The counter for the base doesn't go down nor does my score increase. This has cost me I would guestimate over 3 million battle stars. Possibly 5+ since druth8x hasn't participated this round which would grant me more then the last time this occurred.

In the US we had/have like 40 players get 1% each for "nothing".

The way I look at that is, at least if they stick with it, they grow faster and can really help out with the Country Invasions (was just so it would take only 1 day aka minimize stored damage, now every bit helps for Big Bosses).

That's an awesome update...I'm perfectly fine with 10% healed "over night".

And, YES, I fully agree that Air Strikes CAN be quite useful, if used strategically, esp if some players gift the Country some GOLD.

Not sure yet WHEN is best, but I don't want to run out either.

AND, I DO listen to my fellow members so IF they as a group (vocal segment that is) go against me, I will oblige...it IS 90% their stored damage after all.

ALSO, there was hints at more updates/uses for the Country GOLD, and that might be a better use at times.

Great news! is this change applied already? Thanks for providing nice solution. Indeed Air Strikes are very useful.... though nobody wants to run out them LOL (yet). Now they might not be essentially needed to continue but still they can be a nice boost under the right circumstances.

Just want to ask simple question regarding break the line with individual country users. which is better ?

10% recovery of over all base heath

Well, in the future, earlier for some, 10% of a base is ALL one country as a whole can do in 1 day. Thus, 0% progress.

Or at least in theory, maybe the DPC's will grow fast enough vs Boss Base HP.

AirStrike is always still an option. This change is meant to give countries a chance to try and finish it in a few days, not make the barrier of BTL completely irrelevant.
