Hotmails used to have issues with some websites in the past, probably still has.Recommend you to have a gmail. PS: Microsoft Sucks

I'm one of the 5 people who still use hotmail, and it worked for me in my test  . But email deliverability is a complicated topic, so if our logs show email wasn't bounced, and he doesn't see it anywhere, it's best to try setup a new gmail and try with it indeed.
