We are working on the speed and reliability issues...

- We have disabled the BAP game for Blackjack, as Justins coding for that is not good at all. And it was overwhelming the server.
- We're looking into how we send out emails; we want to push that whole process onto another server. As that will free up a lot of resources.
- We've added the cache to the Result Cards + Portfolio again... so they'll load a bit quicker. And we've still got more work to do there.

And the programmers are also doing some other stuff, but I don't really know the details, to be able to explain it to you.

I am going to raise the BAP tax up to 100 BAP per day...
As we're giving away about 7million free BAP per day via Milestones + BAP ads. But we're only clawing back about 2million BAP from Recycles and 750k or so from BAP tax. *The BAP games will also be helping; but I don't know how much.

But losing 4.5million BAP per day is adding considerable debt to the system. ~$14k per week... PV is not going to improve if it puts itself in more debt. We want to be reducing debt. Not adding even more pressure on the MTV re-investments.

When we add targeted ads + cheap traffic ads, they'll also double dip on the BAP. But that's not ready yet; and at the rate our programmers are being delayed with maintenance tasks; we need to implement a more immediate solution.

To balance the increased BAP tax... we'll offer mature members 200 BAP per day via BAP ads; 5x20BAP + 10x10BAP ads each day. So you can still accumulate BAP that way if you really want to. But preferably not

it's tax anyway jo it's good remove the debt from paidverts and save money for development funds and when u want to push shares it think after every 15 days is best with 50k huge ads for pv too

free BAP i understand but

what i don't get is we are pushing people to buy more ads that will increase depth by 55% for every 1$ adpack and depth can never be avoided

if we push to get into higher BAP groups in the first place we should know the limits how many times we can get our BAP reinvested because reinvest will sure increase our depth with 55% and create more problems if we only reinvest earnings not deposit more to get more BAP

FYI the BAP games reduce BAP debt by about 10-15% (a bit more than recycling ~ 8%) the last time I checked when you gave out the numbers. Or in daily value it's 2-3mil BAP. So a BAP tax of 100 should plug the rest.

The freebies are going to go on a big whine campaign though. This won't be a PTC for them anymore after 100 activation ads. Wouldn't a 75 BAP tax be less drastic ( so they still get 25 free BAP/day after tax) and rather remove BAP for activation ads for users above say 10k BAP?

Purchased ads are not a problem. That provides funding to be re-invested at MTV; and as that returns 2.5x it's sufficient to fully repay the 155% worth of BAP issued.

The only negative point at PV right now; is the FREE BAP we're giving away. If we didn't have that; things would be a whole lot stronger.

But... we obviously can't get rid of it entirely... So we need to come to the right compramise.

@earnforthat- now you have 2x 50 baps ads and 25 tax, so it's +75 daily.
After changes 5x20 + 10x10 bap ads, and 100 tax, so it's +100 daily.

So actually you will have more free points, but it will require much more work.

And I wonder...
Is there sufficient value in having the account milestones?

1) You're already rewarded for buying ads + viewing ads.
2) You're already rewarded substantially for referring friends. 10% of purchases & 5% of clicks. And those clicks are potentially huge!

....
And removing that would save ~90million BAP per month. ($45,000 worth of ads value) That's an enourmous amount of money. And how much marketing value are we getting in return for offering the milestones? That we wouldn't get via just having a referral plan? (And by paying more to active members; the word of mouth value would increase free of charge)

* We should strongly consider this. This is a huge potential debt reduction.

can we consider a system like this?

1) Free members receive 10 x 0.001 ads daily, which equal to 20 BAP only, and collecting 10 Prize Point for every ad viewed.

2) Prize Point can be used for lucky draw, similar to the Neobux Adprize, and can also use in Game. Means that free user can only play game with Prize point. The lucky draw prize could be cash, BAP or even more Prize Point.

But I think i'm going to ask the programmers to remove the account milestones... Cost vs Benefit... it's a no brainer. There's no logical argument for keeping it.

Nobody will like it, obviously. But I don't think it will impact the business negatively. The cost saving will be a positive for all.

Damn it's that much? That would enable another ~5% ad issue every week by itself.

Well, from my own perspective, the milestones encouraged me to promote harder than I've ever before and in my case, the 2mil BAP reward was well used (20k+ purchases from tons of active refs, and another 10k+ from helping convincing refs from other members). But it is a HUGE reward. Would I be wrong in assuming that the 1st and second referral milestones give out so much more free BAP than the 3rd one? I felt that I "abused" it much more when getting 1st and 2nd as they're relatively easy to accomplish and you get a huge reward for that.

So I think some form of the milestones should remain (either just the big one, or reduce the rewards). It doesn't have direct marketing value but it can provide huge incentive to promote, it did very much so in my case. At least to give people a sense of achieving something in the program.

We can think about re-introducing this later, in a more sustainable manner. But for now i'd like to chop it out completely for simplicity. Also one less thing for the server to worry about.

But I think with 100 BAP tax + no account milestones. We should almost certainly break even on the BAP side of things. And then with the Games, we'll actually start to cut into our debt.

If we can reduce 500k-1million BAP per day from our debt. Then this system will start getting awesome very quickly. As every single day; the system is working itself OUT of debt even before the MTV re-investments come into it.

That's the position we want to be in. Then we have a business that's not only sustainable, but awesome for people that use it to its full potential.

To date, we've given away 168million BAP via Milestones. That's 20% of our current total debt. And half of all the BAP we've given away via Free BAP ads.

So this is a game changer I think... We might not be adding revenue; but saving $45k per month. Is likely better than any product we could realistically build anytime soon.

Tax 100 BAP is ok, but delete account milestones is a terrible idea. Many people just are motivated to invite new members and work with them. Besides, a lot of people already got their points of account milestones why others had to be treated differently.

how about instead of referral ad purchase why not change it to personal ad purchase milestones

Just to Motivate New User..(cause the current milestone is very high which new user would not do right away)
$30=10k
$100=30k
$1000=100K
$2500=500K
$5000=1M
$10000=10M
