I don't think the numbers in the description are meant to display the number of "activated" banner points but to display how many banners points the user got with the purchase. Oh well, could be wrong

Hello,
I can't activate my account at PV. I typed the 3 texts and the check mark appeared. But then this also appeared "Please disable AdBlock and refresh to continue..."
I disable AdBlock and refresh but it didn't continue

Try to clear your browsers cookies, history,cache and try again. If not then try another browser. Hopefully that'll work!

Oh and yeh that banner thing I mentioned I was wrong ^^ Just didn't know you can skip banner views.

Also just tried one more thing - I viewed an ad, and tried to view another before the first one finished. It's great that the first one didn't pay me anything and it was recycled to prevent abuse, but it would be good if you couldn't even click on a new ad until the first ad has been confirmed. Or even better simply display a warning that an add is already being viewed and that clicking on another will cancel out the first one.

Just issued another 1250 ads, totalling $40... I'll do the last $50 worth of ads in a few hours; with the daily result on MTV... It's a tough balance between issuing big value ads, and lots of ads!
I'm trying to think what do we want to become known for. And also the nature of most users is that they're small, so a $0.01 ad is actually kinda big to them. 1% ROI... But to someone buying $1000 in ad packs. It's nothing.

I'll compile the issues you've raised and send them to Paul.

What is the ad campaign you're having trouble validating? Are you typing the text out? Or physically clicking and dragging, to copy and paste what's there? (Perhaps there is a double space that has slipped through validation or something)

* I think we'll need to make some tooltips / guides regarding copying and pasting. As capitalization matters! And we might have to do a better job validating what people type into the text space on their ads.

* And sorry Mike, we'll fix the typo! You pointed that out before; but its amazing how tunnel visioned you get when testing.

And regarding suggestions for improvement... we'll brainstorm all these things later this week. There's a few ideas I had in mind also. And we'll definitely look into them.

The initial launch is just to get the basics online. But there's definitely room for improvement and expansion here.

Indeed. We'll see what we can do about that.

Recycled ads; you may view your own ad - nothing we can do about that, short of not ever issuing you a recycled ad that is your own campaign. But i'm sure you'd rather get paid, and view your ad. Than miss out!

But with "newly issued ads" we should be able to filter it.

* This will become less of an issue as we get bigger and there are more ad campaigns in circulation and more users.

Anyway, i've just sent 13 issues / upgrades to the programmers. Very little is actually broken (i'm surprised lol) ... just a few integration bits to refine, admin views, the odd typo and a few minor bits.
