At $7.50 each that is $330 in pure revenue! BTW, how does banner campaigns get sent out? AKA why spend so much more, for so few, comparitevly, impressions? Do they have a bigger chance that all 5 square spots are there ad vs just buying 1 campaign? Cause they could have gotten a much bigger deal, if they bought 1(-9) campaign(s) instead $35 for 20mil means $140 for the first 40 campaigns and then $30 for the leftover 4 = $170 Heck, our banners are even cheaper, we sell 100mil for $100. They Spent $330, thus, they could have gotten 320MIL (not 88mil), if they only spent $5 more. Oh and since they were forced to buy a BA, they actually spent $44 more, meanining, for that $40, they could have gotten another 20mil, plus all they would need to spend is not $5, but save $3, if they only bought the 1 campaign. To sum up: 1. They spent $374, got 88mil impressions. 2. If they wanted 88mil impressions, exactly, they could have spent $170 +$1. 3. Even then, spend $100 and get 100mil impessions, and save $70 + $1. 4. I believe if I was an Admin, I'd give them the banner impressions they didn't buy, but could have, then sent an email to them thanking them for their purchase, mentioning that we gave them 4x more and briefly going into making them more aware of how to stretch their dollar. I'd even mention that we can customize their future campaigns as well, if say they want 88mil, but don't want to spend $100, we could sell the 88mil for $90. Or, If they want to get 500mil, but don't have $500, we could reduce that price a little as well. Bottomline, I posted this for advertisers to see just how big a discount buying in bulk is. Also, maybe there was a genuine reason why this advertiser chose to not get the best deal possible. As far as taking this money for so few banner impressions compared to what they could have gotten, while in the end that's ok. But left unchecked, seems immoral as well as not a good business practice. For instance, Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotions, and the like. If I as a cashier see that they only have 1 of that item, it would seem wrong to me to not mention the deal. Heck, even when it's buy this many cereal, get 1 free milk. If I see they have the cereal, but not the milk, even if they may not want milk, I still think it's polite to mention the deal. I am not at all intending to mock or be rude in any way to the advertiser. Plz reread my post, and see it for what it is a question of is there a reason they did their campaign like this and for the future what advertisers can get for their buck if they buy differently. All of this should lead into them returning to come again as they got more bang for their buck and as long as I priced my products properly, my business wants them, however they choose to buy. In fact, if I were Admin, even if they got the most bang for their buck, I'd probably contact them on the day of their purchase, and at the end of the campaign as well. The staff has been trimmed to a very lean state. The code has been adjusted to allow a drastic decrease in our hosting costs. As much money as possible is being invested in new products to create true profits. Ads being delivered on Paidverts are based on incoming ad revenue, and not what ad viewers want to earn. So do you want to fire some staff? Stop development of new products? Stop paying our hosting bill? Stop issuing ads on Paidverts? FTQ is a debt. The only way to pay it right now is to create new debt somewhere else which would stall or bring to a halt some part of the program. Devaluing other products and such. It hasn't gotten "worse" (well slightly, due to lower avg of new campaigns), your 2000 and 5000 are both decently random. Group Ads often get sent 7-10K, (but not all, even "big" campaigns have been known to get only 3K sent when they have 10K left) no matter the size or how many clicks left on their campaign if they are still active when a Group Ad needs an ad. Thus, just randomness of who is even still around, who recycles (and the lowest value fails in that case), just how long it remains active (so swap an ad and oldest and 1% can all be added) etc as to just how many and campaign gets. On rare occasions, the "Ad Delivery Program" fails to find a few campaigns even, sometimes takes all week to finally find it for Friday's Group Ads. Though, it has been finding all these manually added campaigns (for next Group Ads) just fine. They came up with the idea (granted it was an old forum posted one) of creating splash pages for all the FBG products a couple weeks ago so they don't overdeliver so much. I wonder how long before that is launched. From what I've gleaned from posts, we have limited time avl to use our graphics/designer and of course other projects come first. The timing of this happening is very poor as during the past few days EVERYTHING picked up very nicely and this messes up our consistency. For example: -2 days ago we sold a lot more advertising -Yesterday we sold a lot more ad packs -We're chipping off 1-2,5 million with BAP games every day -The mtv games are in our favor -PPMG earned $1k in just 2 days We're trying to get into our AWS console but are unable to as of now by reasons that are unknown. We contacted their support but that will probably take too long. We're afraid this might jeopardize our black friday deal. If it does, we will turn it into a "Cyber Monday"-deal, as we want to continue with the promotion no matter what.
