We have a couple gamblers back, and they like to buy their BAP via Ad Packs to gamble with.
Sunday was fine, even with a 3.8MIL Jackpot, the House overall won by 1.25-1.55mil...this was b/c another gambler lost most of the difference.

Monday, not so much, so far, a jackpot of 12.5MIL was rewarded, at the very least, and so right now, the house is down 8.3MIL.

We had a huge lead for a while but I guess the jackpot wiped most of that out. It was a big earnings day anyway

And they are gambling the smart way. Get the BAP bonus and then use that to fight the house edge. I'm surprised more don't do that

I'd say stable is incorrect, more like "slowly growing". Granted, past 3 months were slower.

In the first 3/4's of 2017:
Total BAP grew by: 200MIL ($100K) Just under 1/3 growth. ~$513 more per Group Issue.
Active BAP grew by: 116MIL ($58K) Approx 20% growth. ~$297 more per Group Issue.

If you think an increase of $5-$6k per month before the rework and debt removers is a bad thing/not stable, you´re in for a surprise..
That one +9m result is equal to the added debt during the entire month, which is why it caught my attention.

I don't want to make a big deal about it, but yes "long term" $5-$6K per month (or whatever the numbers actually are...I'd argue more like $11K/month aka $500 per Group Ad Issue, since the start of the year) is a bad thing, esp as a % of what we do give out.


Eventually, we could hit 3BIL again with the same size or smaller membership (though at that rate that would mean a lot of ppl climbed the ladder), heck even slightly larger membership that growth would be too much, and ads in our accounts will be 1/3 the size, if the total to all is the same. Which would make it forever and a day to get any ROI. It's debt that you aren't paying off, making BAP worth less for the same Group Ad Issue size, most likely outcome, in effect since we maintain our BAP lvls.


Yes, 9mil is significant, (still not a total month, but huge % of a past 3 month) but if we get 4 days of 2mil house edge overall we are up 1mil. We've "mostly" absorbed 12mil/big jackpot wins earlier in the year as well. That's how it works. Heck even bigger House Edge days occurrs as well. Overall, House is supposed to make a profit, so 9mil will be eaten up np. You didn't say anything then, when we got big House Edges.


In my world, stable means month to month, year to year, I know that it will be close to that lvl. When I shop, I keep $0.10/oz for cereal in mind (yes most cereal is 25c/oz, but that's brand name)..some are even cheaper (Honey Bunches Oats/Raisin Bran/Corn Flakes), and sometimes nothing is cheaper than 12c, but I know there will be a sale sometime soon to stock up again and buy at 9-11c again. Right now, there hasn't been a lvling off, or any monthly downturn, to get a range for stable to occur yet. I know BAP is different due to changes in total members and how many at each lvl, so 3BIL eventually could be stable, but the BAP rate it grows now is not yet stable. Hence, "slowly growing".
