All bugs seemed fixed, the last testing rounds went pretty much flawless. This were things we couldn't test on this scale as a small business. I mean, even big gaming companies can't bring out games without bugs after testing with 2000 betatesters. Quite frankly right now it doesn't matter which you were. MyMatrix being screwed doesn't benefit any of us and the damage is already done. We can blame whoever we want, but we're in this together and we need to keep MTV going up. Today was a huge setback. Instead of pointing fingers, let's learn from all the mistakes and look ahead, we need to be together, so as much pissed as you may be, I ask all of you to stay calm and patient and a solution will present itself as soon as possible, because the MTV staff never stole a penny from anyone's accounts. joe31800 Traffic Value: $6,016.01548 United States 13 like this post 0 people 01/04/2017 19:29 We are smarter than this folks.  As several have mentioned before, ALL signs pointed to a disaster with Brian holding all the cards.  I stood on the sidelines for this one because nothing made me feel comfortable about it. Throwing money at something that Marc and MTV did NOT have complete control of scared the crap out of me. As it turns out, Brian having control of the code left our team virtually helpless. Never a good position to be in, and we should have accepted a little embarrassment and pulled the plug on this project instead of moving forward. I know it's hindsight, but did anybody really feel good about this deal as launch approached? I just hope somehow everybody gets made whole in this mess. A great idea in concept, but our execution was flawed from the start trusting a third party with a history of sketchy business practices. Time to clean up, move on, and use our own staff for everything. I don't care if I get dividends or FTQ payments for a year or more, let's just get our programming staff increased and solidified to make this sort of thing just a bad memory. Now either people have good will and honesty and give the money back or MTV may have to cover some losses. Don't take my word for it, I'm just guessing to give you some view of the problem, let's wait for what Marc has to say about this. Being overenthusiastic over things and taking all personally is your weaker point when it comes both into projects and the way communications are handled. Just a simple knockoff of CS would be perfect. Use our Project Funding to fund it. To date, I think Paidverts was the most lucrative project MTV ever produced. Lets try it again with a stand alone PTC. Hell, you can make a dozen of them. People love to click for pennies, and with our advertising reach, the membership of these would explode almost instantly. They don't need to profit a ton, just a few hundred bucks a week to the result card. Surely, it will be very profitable, and MTV already got lots of members from Paidverts. Everyone will want to refer others.  MTV can create half a dozen more or less of these simple PTC sites, with catchy domain names, attractive landing pages, and nice additional features that differ a bit from the other. People like to become members of more than one PTC site becoz memberships will not be exactly the same in each site. We already have a rework (different look for Member vs Advertiser) for PV, along with a restructured PV "reward" system coming. The main reason PV was so profitable was the HYIP elements, which also meant the s word, and net gain didn't actually occur according to results. CoinFlip is actually our best performing product and PPMG looks like it could surpass it (year or 2 down the line). If you can line up advertisers, and can't convince them to advertise here but will on a standard PTC, then we can talk. Well, MTV can create the next big PTC thing again, why not? This is the perfect opportunity, there is nothing at the moment... A good trustworthy ptc site is a money earner becoz many people worldwide will want to join, and how many people wants to earn cents watching ads? So many.. even if you or me do not want to click ads for cents, there are still millions of people out there who would want to click ads to earn cents. And when there are lots of members in a ptc site, the advertisers will come in. Just don't confuse the advertisers with BAPs... BAPs is not needed for a new PTC site of MTV. Advertisers sign up in PTC sites to BUY ads to promote their sites, they don't want anything else, they need views for their sites. Clickers will want to earn from viewing ads... clickers will have to pay additional fees if they want to earn more. Well anyways, look at CS... they have a lot of advertisers. And CS is much simpler than PV. The advertisers only buy ads. Clickers click ads. They do make additional money on offers, surveys, etc, and Neo does the whole rent a bot scheme, but it works for them.  I think taking a long hard look at proven models that are sustainable for years (both are 9 plus years) is a good place to start. You can use them as a base idea, and add some new and creative elements to add uniqueness. This of course should not be the only course, nor should it be looked at as the next saving product, but rather a source of steady moderate revenues funded by the crowd. We should also have someone dedicated to securing lucrative advertisers by cherry picking the ones proven to use this type of product. I have been seeing alot of name brand adds popping up on BC faucets lately including Nike, McDonalds, State Farm, and even Chevrolet. Maybe we should look at maximizing those two things. I know many companies will start a new site to get the same members to join the second site but it is a lot like a stock split where you get twice the members at half the value You say you want to be like NB or CS but they are not opening new sites, they are improving on what they have to keep members happy. Do you see that? It is the BAPs that was giving problems in PV in the first place. Truth is, BAPs makes PV so confusing for both regular PTC advertisers and regular PTC clickers. What's more confusing... BAPs dictates how much you can earn from clicking ads by how much BAPs you own. NB and CS are not HYIP product, they only started and focused on the paid to click idea of viewing ads earning cents.. easy to understand for members whether advertisers, clickers or both or for people who are newbies on the internet. PV is not a regular standard PTC site becoz of the BAPs thing which is really confusing for new members. MTV can create a new ptc site similar to the highly successful ones with no BAPs giveaways. You seem to be confusing MTV with Paidverts. Since MTV is the parent company of many, many subsidaries, including Paidverts, it will likely have overlapping projects. I see no reason why MTV couldn't have several PTCs, just like it could(and does) have several casinos, several freemium games, several faucets etc.  Kinda like a company owning Pizza Hut, KFC, and Taco Bell. All fast food restaurants, but having unique offerings. If people start to see the dollar value of their BAPs go up they will figure things out pretty quick. All the old timers here remember all the PV Clones that come out and tried copying the idea. Most blew up pretty quickly cause of bad management. But they spawned a totally different PTC idea. Revenue sharing and PTC combined. This  forum seem to worked for a few companies as i see alot of them out that are pretty successful. dguy yeah i can think of one that done that very well. Just look around the internet i am sure you find them if you dont know who we talking about the seem to be the new program to try and copy. I think a bap free PTC would be a great addition to the company. You could get people earning some change on it. Then introduce them PV as a step up to making more money. Cause the one thing i have always heard people complain about PV is I am investing more then i am making i could go to CS, or this or that site and make more. Most of your PTC Clickers are not long term thinkers they want instant results which is why when PV first started and was printing money with no problems it was all the rage but once reality hit so did drop of people using the program. Can it be fixed sure. Cause we are slowly doing it. I think once people start seeing it paying more then pennies a day for click 10 or 20 ads we could see the come back of PV clones again.
