Limit rooms:

10/20 - Small stack (helps introduce new players to the game)
20/50 - Medium Stack
100/250 - Medium stack
250/500 - Big Stack
1000/2000 - Big Stack

No limit rooms:
5/10 - Small Stack (helps introduce new players to the game)
10/20 - Medium Stack
50/100 - Medium Stack
100/200 - Big Stack
500/1000 - Big Stack

I'm thinking maybe we'd want to get rid of the 2nd and 3rd blind sizes, so there's not too many rooms for starters. Just one of each type for beginners open, and 2 of the biggest blind sizes, to promote/incentivize bigger players.

Any thoughts/criticism welcome!

I would say get rid of limit tables. Unless something drastically changed in the last two-three years limit hold'em poker is is not very popular. What i remember from my pokerstars days there were only a few limit tables open compared to hundreds of no limit tables. 2nd and 3rd blnd sizes should be the most popular ones so i think they should not be taken out.

Yet another idea that i have remembered that would make the life of players (those that calculate their odds and such) a lot easier.
There should be another way to choose bet/raise size - by manually writing in bet size. Also buttons like 3x big blind (BB) and 4xBB for preflop and 1/2 pot size, 3/4 pot size and 1xpot size for after flop. The manual write in is available in all poker rooms and as for buttons some rooms even allow you to customize those and add your own but those that i have mentioned are by far the most popular.

An idea that could spike up the activity at poker tables:

Make a daily task that would reward people with lets say 100, 200, 500 BAP.
This task could be shown to everybody at MAXIMIZE YOUR EARNINGS table on the home screen.
However this should not create extra debt as nobody likes it right?

. Therefore in order to claim lets say 100 BAP that day you have to generate at least 150 BAP in rake at poker tables (or better call it make XXX in bets when it would be shown to the general public). Why would it be tempting to people to pay 150 to get 100? Simple because while generating 150 rake you might not loose anything or even win some, because you do not play against the casino, you play against other players.

This idea could give yet another way for the beginners to build up their groups, spike up the poker activity at the lower stakes, therefore generating higher stake activity and even earn PV some extra profit in the process.

how about to create rooms where bots are playing the game already. when a real user joins the table a bot automaticly leaves.

of course bots automaticly excluded from tournaments and do not add up to the prize pools

Nobody will want to play against a bot from the house, because that bot possibly can know the cards from the other players.

Edit: Also, one of the good things of poker against other casino games is that you are playing against other players and no the house.

I have a hunch that in tournaments not called bets are considered wagers.
Why would this be bad? Well simply because you could rise to the top of the board very easily without actually playing or generating any noticeable rake for the company. You simply need to find a friend, create a private high stakes room and play one on one. Whenever it is your turn you would go allin and your friend folds. You get raked only for the blinds and get wagers calculated according to all your bet.
Could someone confirm or deny this?

- finished testing for non-leavers that forces to participate in following hand

those updates are all finished, but they are part of a major "fix" and will be deployed all together. sadly i cant give you any ETA yet. but when i recive it, it will be first posted here.

What @stark100 said is what happens in casinos, if you leave one table with money, you cannot come back to the same table until 2-3hours, but you can change to another one. This is to avoid people winning one hand and leavign with a lot of money, cashout it and come back, so players have the change to get his money back (from the one who won the big pot)

The casino of Barcelona does it for example. Maybe it's not a Las Vegas casino, but all the big tournaments (CEP, EPT, WPT...) are played there. Also Pokerstars do it
