I understand where you're coming from, but happen to disagree with you on this one.  As someone who's had cash tied up in the FTQ for a while, I'd love to get it back quickly, but we're essentially just a startup that is having to run on very tight budgets.  Without PPMG particularly and PBG to a lesser extent over the last year or two, there was no business. Now...we're tentatively coming out the other side, and making a significant payment to the FTQ this month was a significant step.  Firstly, because it starts to reduce our debt burden, but most importantly is another example (if it was needed) that Marc and the team are not walking away from this. Personally, I believe the worst times are behind us and that there is a lot to be positive about but that doesn't mean there won't be challenges and disagreements ahead of us.   I'm hopeful that this promotion might reward some of our big gamblers that have really kept us afloat and also provide a boost to MTV, meaning another FTQ payment (perhaps even larger) can be made.  If not, so be it, lesson learned. Anyway...keep putting your opinion out there...it's just as important as anyone else's, but that doesn't automatically make it right.  If we all keep doing the same, sooner or later one of us will have a good one. Also, he can always give us lowest value ads and get that done in a couple weeks max...just has to deliver ~1MIL to us all over whatever period he wants to, and while a big chunk will get recycled and then rejected (and paid for), the rest will be clicked. Some math: 10,000 clickers (that's under the amount...for some reason sys stats has been really weird with this number whenever I've checked it), just to get the "going" rate for mass delivery, that means for every ad sent to all 10K there will be 5K removed from the total, rough avg. 565K/5K = 113 ads Which if you divide that by 10 per day means we have 11 days atm to get em done...and he could stretch it to 20 per day, cutting the time more towards half (though not exactly as some might do 10 but won't do 20 esp many days in a row). BTW, it doesn't get that many hits off daily, maybe 1K. So, yes, it needs these extra overdelivered* 1K+ hits to campaigns of 50 etc to be redirected to it (so it's free) or to manually be given a few ads per day for lowest value (so it's quite cheap, if active ppl choose to recycle that means one that doesn't is paid for) BTW, we also have another campaign that expires on the same day as the huge campaign, that has 42.7K left and so far since the weekend only gotten ~900 hits this week. SO, this better pick up steam or it will need help as well. Which is odd b/c I know that other weeks it got more like 1K daily, so it slowed down. On top of all this, since more of the AA are having days where there is 0 non paid spots (of the 8), we are getting a backlog of campaigns again. 5 were purchased in APR, and another 2 the first 4 days of May, so there is time, but after the first couple weeks, the hits sent drop a huge amount, and so while only one is above 10K (14K), they will take a long time to get their final hits left. *Seriously, campaigns that get swept up in Groups ads get min 2K-often as high as 7K sent to them, no matter if the purchase was 50, 500, or 5K. Which means for small campaigns that get wrapped up in it (aka not finished off via AA ads that weren't paid for), they get 1K's extra...and those who buy say 2,500 only get a couple hundred extra, on avg. Campaigns of 5K plus often don't get completed the same day (really only when there are a few non paid AA spots so the Group ads could give them more like 7K). And, as each day passes, the oldest don't get thousands sent their way during Group Ads, so they linger on and on, even if they only have 5K or less after 1 Group day (doesn't matter if it's the weekend or Tuesday or Friday, though Monday Group ads do leave more old campaigns from completion than most days (though usually unless the campaign is too big, it's competed Tuesday or at least by Friday.) FTQ Payements are only done when the site has more profit than expenses. So, we won't go in debt to give a $50* payment (esp if it's only one user, as the word of mouth/happy members is less, so we can't call it an advertising reputation expense). That said, I feel as if there is enough PV Ad Issue money saved up, that they could borrow from that when the month is so lean, that even $500 can't be done. If they so chose to, that is. 2.
