You cannot pin topics, you cannot search topics, you cannot create sub-threads, you cannot edit or include tables and ghrapics correctly, no signatures, no icons, etc. etc. We should get rid of this altoghter and go for a more robust and well known bulleting board software . my 40 BAps worth comments. Our custom forum script is developed by the programmers so it uses the same architeture and the same databases... if you get a 'ready one' like phpBB for instance, it will have everything done... but can you imagine the amount of change that will have to be done in order to make it 'understand' our database???? Nope... the solution is to improve this one gradually. We know it is a pain sometimes, but we are doing our best as mods/admins/programmers to offer the best available solution. It may be slow, but it will come. For what purpose ? The integration of the forum operations with the rest of the system is limited to having the users traffic value number associated with each user. Incapsulate a real forum software in a frame and just replicate the user database with itw own rights and permissions. Offload the entire forum software to another server and, we have an immediat increase of MTv and PV performance. And I am abosulitely non critizing Slosumo and the devs for this new feature nor i am not thanking tham, I am just stating that since they are changing things, they could look into other features as well.
