Another day in limbo land!

No news from PayPal. Carlos has talked to them a bunch, and says all positive things - but it's just polite replies from low level support staff. So it's basically meaningless... Ultimately we're still waiting for someone higher up to review our account and stipulate the terms of how we can work together.

But until we get a reply, I have no idea what's going on. I think this is the big decision of the year; if PayPal allows us to work together. We'll get huge pretty much overnight. And if not; this will be another year of hard work! long face

Fingers crossed!

Other than PayPal, everything is business as usual. All other payment processors are up to date. And tickets are back to a managable level now. I'll clear the pending ~90 today.

Once we get a reply from PayPal, we'll form a plan of action and keep moving forwards. But until then, I am not changing anything, or even attempting to make plans. Because it all depends on what PayPal says. As soon as they say something, we'll act accordingly!

Please be patient.

Todays support ticket:

Can we have some urgency with the review of our account please.
Our business is in a near state of paralysis based on your out of the blue, knee jerk reaction to suddenly freeze our account the last 2 weeks.

We were working flawlessly with you for over a month, and then you just hit the kill switch for absolutely no reason.... A full half of our active members have been waiting coming up on 2 weeks to cashout their ad click earnings via PayPal. But you won't let us pay them.

We need you to stipulate the terms by which we can work together. I have proposed 3 more than reasonable solutions. Please get back to us! We've tried calling you, emailing you; but we never get anything other than a polite reply from low level support staff that cannot do anything.

Please enable bulk payments from our account.
And stipulate any security provisions on your behalf to minimize your risks, if you want to block a part of each purchase; fine. If you want to limit ad purchases to a given size; fine! Just say; and let us get back to work.

---
Below is a copy of the previous message, containing our business model + proposed ways forward that will minimize PayPals risk. If you need this information re-iterating via phone, call Carlos at any time.
---

PaidVerts is a “Paid To Click” business.
Exactly the same as NeoBux, Clixsense and a thousand others, all of whom accept PayPal and have done so for years.

PRODUCT / SERVICE:
Advertisers can purchase guaranteed communication with our users. For just 2cents per user, advertisers will get users to type out three selling points about their product / business (in captcha form). And after doing that the user then proceeds to the advertisers website for 30seconds. At which point the user can collect their micro-payment for viewing that advertisement.

i) Ads are issued at random, between our 30,000+ users. There is no way to launder money via this process. And the values assigned to individual ads are also random.
ii) Advertisers can only purchase advertising using PayPal. They cannot fund any account balance, transfer money to others, or anything like that. We are 100% compliant with anti-money laundering practices.
iii) We impose purchase limits on user accounts, to prevent fraud. New users may only purchase $11/week worth of ads for their first 2 weeks. Followed by $33/week worth of ads for the next 10weeks, and finally the limit increases to the maximum of $125/week thereafter. This protects PayPal, and it protects us.
iv) We have incredible transparency / logs for each ad campaign purchased, check out the memo line of every single transaction made to our account. It provides a public link to the details the campaign purchased, and even shows you every single click we’ve delivered, along with a time stamp, username and other information.

USERS:
Users can signup at our website for free. No purchase required!
They accumulate “Bonus Ad Points” which are required to receive paid ads, via first activating their account (free), and then via viewing up to 8 “BAP ADS” daily (free!), which are basically free ads; where the user is rewarded with bonus points (not real money).... Users who accumulate the most Bonus Points, will then receive the highest value paid ads, eg. They’ll earn slightly more per ad view than users with less Bonus Ad Points. This is how we ensure our traffic is both active + valuable. And give advertisers the best value for money.

Users then receive paid advertisements daily, depending upon availability.
They receive cash for those ads that they view, and as they accumulate sufficient funds for cashout, they can withdraw that money to their PayPal account.

BUSINESS MODEL / SUSTAINABILITY:
We deliver paid ads to users from $0.0005+ per visit.
We need to maintain an average payment of $0.02/visit or less, in order for the business to be profitable.

However, between our BAP ADS (free ads users view, for no reward), and a mix of very low value ads, and some high value ads, we’re able to maintain our averages. Whilst giving the users a very good experience with some users receiving ads over $1 for just one click.... Via randomly assigning values to certain ads that are higher than $0.02 per visit.
eg. Look at our website statistics right now: http://paidverts.com/member/system_statistics.html

Bulk Ads Delivered: 7082157
Total Value: $75,945.88
Average Per Click Value: $0.0107

This is just under a 50% rate of profitability for the business at present. And we’re able to deliver some super high value ads to users; which are balanced out via thousands of tiny tiny value ads; which are users are “encouraged” to view; so that they don’t consume their Bonus Points (that they had to view ads to earn) in vain.

--------

As mentioned above, this is a Paid To Click business.
PayPal serves thousands of these businesses all over the world;
www.neobux.com & www.clixsense.com are the two biggest.
So there is no reason to discriminate against our business. As it’s fundamentally no different. The only thing we do different (better) is mix things up! Rather than paying a flat rate of $0.01 per ad view, which no valuable user will be interested in. We mix things up; giving some low value, and other high value ads. That way we get the best of both worlds, for no additional cost.

--------

Proposed Solutions:

1) Ideally we’d like unrestricted access to all of PayPals features, particularly your Bulk Pay system. As we cannot pay thousands of users their earnings manually. That’s impossible. We will be turning over millions of dollars this year. And PayPal will make a fortune in transaction fees.

2) If “buying ads” is deemed too much of a risk for you, we can disable that option. And use PayPal only as a method for users to cashout their ad click earnings. This is not ideal, but it will serve as a bare minimum... We will fund our PayPal account via bank wire; and then distribute the funds to our thousands of users.

3) Mitigate PayPals risk via a Rolling Reserve. PayPal can block 10-50% of every single ad purchase our account receives. And hold that money for 3-6months, to guarantee against chargebacks. That way we have full use of our account, and you have a huge reserve to protect yourselves.

------

If you have any further questions, please get in contact with me! It is very annoying that you have just closed out account without even consulting us, or giving us advice on how we can better work together.

Our company is currently exploding in size. We will become one of your top 1% of users by the end of the year I’m sure. Please help us get there!

In other news, Paul is now working on adding Banner Impressions to bulk ad campaigns. This is a completely optional upgrade, where you can purchase extra banner impressions with your campaign if you want them; and the pricing is super competitive:

[ ] Add 10,000x 125*125 banner impressions for $0.35
[ ] Add 50,000x 125*125 banner impressions for $1.00
[ ] Add 500,000x 125*125 banner impressions for $7.50

[ ] Add 10,000x 728*90 banner impressions for $0.50
[ ] Add 50,000x 728*90 banner impressions for $1.50
[ ] Add 500,000x 728*90 banner impressions for $10.00

Thereafter, Paul should be freed up to install Neteller (assuming the account is ready) ; and then the "Super User" upgrade where you can buy priority receiving the 1% random ads!

Hi Jo,

I'm a fan of banner advertising myself. Would it be possible for you to create a banner advertising only option? This would have some great benefits for MTV. The main one being that you don't have to pay clickers to view them thus it is pure cash flow to the bottom line. All you need to do is give up the extra space.

Another option you might want to add is text ads. If you were to put them on the index page of PV, then advertisers would not only get members viewing the ads but also non members so the value of the advertising would skyrocket and that would keep the buyers flowing in

Another idea is to standardize the banner advertising across the entire MTV/PV/(future site) network. This is also the type of thing advertisers go mad for smile

URGENT

I highly suggest we, all togheter the MTV + PV members, copy and paste Jo's request letter and send to Paypal in order to speed up their daft support service and push into a positive for all of us.

Please Jo, make a separate post with the plain request and myself + my referrals will flood thier retarded staff with it.

We are thousands being damaged here and this will cause somebody from Paypal's high spheres get in charge quickly. Remember we are most premier users and my account along is about 12 years old.

I know this will work out. The power of masses allways kicked arses and they will realize they would be loosing several thousands in profits plus annoying thousands of loyal members. They are just filtering new PTC programs and may not give a fuck but I assure you guys they will not mess up with several thousands of loyal members

We have nothing to loose and all to gain.

WHO IS UP FOR IT?

Jo you said:

But I've been waiting almost 2 weeks now because it was sent to the wrong country.

Could you please have Carlos spare a few minutes to call Western Union to correct it?

Yeh don't spam PayPal with anything. This is between Carlos, Jo and PayPal. Anyone else interfering just makes things worse.

I would not call that "spamming" as the fact of delay things due to those idiots is harming myself and my referrals.

However it was just an idea and I will not do it unless Jo and company agree. We are all in the same boat and I am here to help, not to interfer!

I am really sick of PP. They normally do this ramdomly with programs at will and no reasons.

Yes, that's correct Neobux went through similar situation. Just be weary, I 've also heard of PAYZA holding websites at ransom.
