I believe you'll see a huge improvement as we introduce that; definitely more customer satisfaction! 2) We'll chase up PayPal this week. We know what's required now -- we just need Carlos to call the right department. So they can appropriately flag our account to permit digital goods sales. 3) We'll be changing the activation ads limit to 5 per server day. Currently its per 24hours; but that wasn't my intention. 4) We'll be adding a paid vacation mode. Where for a $1.99 (or, 10,000 BAP) fee; you can freeze your account. And you won't receive any further ads until you un-freeze it... No time limit! (You can also freeze your account for free, just by letting it go inactive as you go on vacation. But for some users that's not an option - so we'll give them the paid alternative) 5) Thinking on Kamils simplification comments; the upgrade idea is a bit complicated for the moment - and likely needs refining - so in the mean time, I'm planning to add a simple paid ad filter to your account. For a $10 fixed fee. You can set the minimum value ads your account will be permitted to receive... So if you set it to $0.02 -- you'll never be issued any ads under $0.02. Thereby safeguarding your BAP. You can change the value at any time; every change costs $10, and lasts until you pay to change it again. Easy peasy! Jo

Looking at that, I don't think any of those stats are accurate. I'll get the programmers to look into it this week, after the key functions have been added to PV.

They seem to go crazy for clicking no matter how little they get paid for it. It is amazing how many of them don't think 'big' when it comes to money issues

Well that's ideal...As soon as we get the grouped ad distribution setup; we can create tens of thousands of low value ads every day for low value users. And then a few high value views for big users! Everybody wins.

Other PTC are mostly 0.001$ so basically 0.005$ it's bigger and will attract all users from those sites instead, small coins in a big ocean can make millions in the end

Most of the $.001 ads at other PTCs are 1 click and a 5-10 second timer.With PV, It's a click, three lines of text to enter or copy/paste, another click, a 30 second timer, and ANOTHER click to confirm. I'm not so sure $.005 is such a bargain. I'm certainly not complaining, I just don't think people should be directly comparing PaidVerts ads to the $.001 PTCs out there. They are definitely different products and as such, different opportunities.

Hmm today i keep on getting logged out from PaidVerts. I click on a ad and it starts to count down and when i hit confirm i get error (not every time but every 2. or 3.) and get logged out..

@freejoini think server is reset when to much traffic occur, problem is that when clicking the ad it will be impossible to earn from it because the ad will be recycled automatically when it is not confirmed ok it should be left until it was really confirmed it happen 5 times yesterday and ad was moved to Clicked Ads section with a message of lost points

I've mentioned that to the programmers. We need to make the ad system more resiliant to errors... Rather than just auto-recycle everytime... The user should be allowed to view the ad again.

And i've been thinking today; as soon as we sort out the core issues for PV. I want to do something with our games...Ideally to let users play games with their BAP balance... Thereby, it's basically fun money. That has a value - or means to be converted to real cash. So if users just want to play for fun; they view some activation ads; and play games. Nothing to lose; something to gain! And of course; it should be net profitable for MTV; which reduces our "debt" effectively. And that will increase the value of the PV ads; making that even more appealing and growing the business even more... And also, this is basically risk free for MTV. As when a player wins, they win BAP; which is earning potential, and not cash... so there's no negative revenue for the MTV portfolio)

You buy ads with PayPal. We deliver those ads.That's the only thing you can do with PayPal. There's no way to fund a PayPal balance or anything like that. PayPal is only for ad purchases. Getting paid by advertisers to view advertisements is nothing to do with PayPal.

You will be able to use PayPal for both buying ads, and cashing out your earnings.What i'm saying is, the only thing you do with PayPal is buy ads. That we deliver. Any earnings you aquire are completely separate to that, requiring you to interact with Paid Advertisements (which you can do irrelevant of whether or not you buy advertising).... So it's not any form of passive investment. Which would be against PayPals T&C. You buy ads. We deliver them. Job done! And as a bonus, you prove value to advertisers. Which results in paid ads being targeted at your account. And then IF you choose to interact with those; you will earn. All legit! And if you don't choose to interact with those ads, no problem. Your purchased ads will be delivered within 180days, or refunded. Happy days! |
