Todays fast tracks have been sent!

PaidVerts Launch Countdown:
1 day to go; Friday March 21st

MyTrafficValue is now accepting BitCoin:
http://mytrafficvalue.com/forum/news/bitcoin_now_accepted/1.html

Still battling with the domain pointing issue; i'm going to try and get BlockDos to sort it out for us. As right now, that's the only thing potentially delaying our launch.

Update from Paul:
Okay, PayPal direct payments work fine, still few things left to do in admin panel (display stats here and there) and monetization porftolio, but user-side website is finished I think smile

Bad news is that I was wrong - PayPal doesn't send their fees in transaction callback. There's a field 'fee' for our predefined fees.

So regarding PayPal, we're going to set the fee structure as follows, basically presuming the worst:

Deposits: 4.9% + $0.30 actual cost // 6.5% + $0.30 user fee
Cashouts: 0% + $0.00 actual cost // 0% + $0.25 user fee

However I was reading that with PayPal you can expect ~5% of deposits to be charged back. And if that's the case; our fees will have to be raised... But we'll try 6.5% initially, and see how that goes.

We do limit what new accounts can transfer via PayPal to just ~$11 per week for the first 12 weeks. Until they prove themselves; where the limit then increases to $120/week. (And in special circumstances we can increase that further on an individual basis - if we know you to be trustworthy)... So hopefully that'll limit the impact of any chargebacks. And enable us to keep our fees as low as possible. But PayPal is expensive!

Anyway, i'll keep you updated throughout the day, and hopefully we get the domain name thing sorted soon. And can begin final testing... But likely this testing lark is going to go right up to the last minute, like always!

And an update regarding a few pending Perfect Money + EgoPay withdrawals;

I have Carlos chasing down some e-currency at the moment. But i'm sure the instant we launch PaidVerts it'll come in anyway; and we'll clear the half dozen or so cashouts pending there. The values are all tiny and we're within the 7day time limit; but we just have no e-currency at the moment other than STP.

* If any user would like to accept STP for their pending EGO/PM cashout, open a support ticket and i'll pay you via that immediately.

ps. The extra annoying thing regarding EgoPay is we actually have enough money in the egopay account to pay the cashouts. But it's all blocked with EgoPays rolling reserve nonsense. What a crappy payment processor! Hard to fund. Can't cash it out. Can't use it when it's in your account. Useless!

www.okpay.com

Does anyone use OkPay? Seems to be well supported on the exchanger front. Might be worth looking into.

I think you can't really go higher than 6.5% deposit fee. Its already very big man.

I think a better way if you have to increase the fees would to split the fees between deposit and cashout

OKpay seems to be quite good pp, unfortunately it's not so popular. Though would be nice to add it to PV with some others like bitcoin, payeer, payza, pexpay.

I saw few hyips using payeer/pexpay/okpay as deposit methods, so probably mtv can accept them itself too.

Jo,

I think that 10% for referral clicks is low compared to the competition. Neobux is 10% for free members and 50% to 100% for upgraded members.

10% for free members is good, but I think you could offer a sponsor upgrade (monthly and/or yearly) which sponsor earns around 20% on ref clicks?

PV has to motivate people to advertise

Brainy, PV pays 10% from direct adpacks purchases and 5% for a clicks.
So, for example your refferal want to advertise his business, he buy 100$ worth od adspots, then you earn 10$ instantly, and 5% from his every paid click. So in total you can earn 10$ + 7.75$, it's 17.75$.

I think ref comissions are high and it's worth to promote.

NeoBux delivers ads from $0.001 up to $0.02
PV delivers ads from $0.005 up to $10+

It's a completely different thing... You should make way more money promoting PV than Neobux. And with Neobux I think you can only have so many referrals without paying for an upgrade. (Or certainly some PTC's are like that) ... But with PV we have no restrictions in that regard. There's no renting referrals or anything like that.

Also the neobux business model assumes that many people won't ever cashout. The PV model assumes every penny is accounted for, as it can instantly be spent in our games etc. So we have to be more careful.

And yes, Payment Processors are a damn rip off. More businesses should pass the fees instantly onto their users; then that might encourage some actual competition in the marketplace.

As if you look at PayPal; its free to send money. But costs a fortune to receive. Thereby PayPal is screwing businesses. Whilst giving users a somewhat free ride... Thereby, all the user stick with the most expensive payment method on the planet. And businesses are forced to deal with it.

We'll keep the PayPal fees under advisement. Depending on the level of chargebacks; we'll introduce a cashout fee %... As I think the fees are going to need to clear a 5% "profit" for MTV; just to cover our risk and operating expenses associated with dealing with PayPal.

* Random idea for the future...
Perhaps we could offer a way to buy/sell referrals on a marketplace of sorts. Maybe you could even buy yourself.

With strict rules in place for;

1) You can't refer yourself on registration
2) Only accounts more than ___ months old can be sold.
#) And maybe, only verified accounts of some sort. Assuming we start collecting KYC information at some point.

Alright.

you know ojooo?
(alexa rank 389!!!)

They offer big upgrades ($99 monthly) and offer nice commissions (50%).

I think PV could add a feature like this one.

Offer a monthly upgrade which offer special services and with 50% referral commission.
That would bring a lot of big leaders with this insane money opportunity.

What do you think?

And I got another question: If I get a referral on PV, does he instantly have an account on MTV, so he's my ref on MTV also??

Pistas rápidas de hoy han sido enviado !

PaidVerts Cuenta atrás:
1 día para ir , viernes 21 de marzo

MyTrafficValue está aceptando BitCoin :
http://mytrafficvalue.com/forum/news/bitcoin_now_accepted/1.html

PTC's get crazy traffic ranks.

We'll investigate upgrade options once everything is rolling. If we can give people enough of a reason to upgrade, then sure we'll do it... As subscriptions are mega money if you can get people to buy them.

But there needs to be a valid reason. For it to be financially viable. And something that the payment processors will accept.

--

And yes, if you refer a friend to PaidVerts; they're automatically your referral at MTV also. It's exactly the same account.

PaidVerts and MTV are the same website, using the same database. They just look different - ones green with one set of navigation links. And the other is blue; with a different set of navigation links.

But your balance at MTV can be used at PV. And you can swap your PV balance to your MTV balance the exact same like you can with your current MTV Earnings Balance.

Okpay is good processor. I've been using them for years and they are more and more populare. They support Bitcoin deposits as well so it's a nice processor to work with and should be added to MTV smile

We don't have any Egopay at the moment. That's one of the currencies we're looking for wink

But there's only a couple small pending withdrawals - the currency will almost certainly arrive the instant we launch PaidVerts.
