If you're going to change the ad view page, I would also suggest you to do some small changes on it to reduce the number of actions currently necessary from the user. What I suggest is the following: When using VisualCaptcha, remove the need to click on Confirm button. That action could be automatically triggered when the user selects a captcha option. After the ad timer runs out, make the ad confimation process automatic, by removing the second Confirm button. Since you are planning on removing the ad interaction page, the whole ad view process can be shortened to just 3 clicks/actions, which can be described as: 1 - Select an ad to view; 2 - Click on a captcha option; 3 - Click on Close button on the ad window; - - - Another suggestion, which is more focused on reducing page loads and server load than improving user experience, but which I guess that could require a bit more programming time, would be to change the ads list page in such a way that it would not require it to be reloaded for every completed ad. Even if a reload is required for banner impressions, in this case, only the banners would need to be updated. In short, this is a bit like other PTC sites are already doing. I don't have any idea of how much this could help saving server costs on PaidVerts, but if it could save as just as a little bit, it would be profit. Example: when the user selects an ad to view, another browser tab opens; then, when the user closes the ad tab, the completed ad is automatically hidden from the ads list and the banners are updated. This also removes the need to constantly scroll down the page on many screens. - - - Although it'll certainly pay off on the long run, I understand your main focus right now is to save BAP debt and you probably can't afford to spare too much time on improving every bit of the site for now. Either way, this remains as a suggestion for when you have the time and the budget to do it and I'm pretty sure that you'll come up with the right solution that'll put everything into account.
