I want to run this by the programmers - just to ensure our RNG is as random as it can possibly be; but I thought i'd share it with everyone at the same time. As it's a supposed betting strategy for Roulette, that supposedly exploits a flaw in the random number generation behind online roulette.

However - I'm very sceptical!
It just looks like a variation of the age old "double up" strategy. Using the 30x payout of indvidual numbers to disguise it a bit. And like any double up strategy, you'll win small amounts very frequently, to create the illusion that its working. But you'll lose large amounts infrequently. Which is where the odds average back out, and usually into the favour of the house. Seeing as the prize tables are generally designed that way!

here we go: Roulette

It is all about RNG. Random Number Generator. This is the core of the Online Roulette software.
It uses millions of operations from the most simple to the most complex. This hack works with the intrinsic value of numbers. These intrinsic values mean the value of the number by digits. In the case of one digit number it is the number itself, with two digit numbers i keep adding the digits until it is a one digit number.



1 = 1 2 = 2 3 = 3 4 = 4 5 = 5 6 = 6 7 = 7 8 = 8 9 = 9
10 = 1 11 = 2 12 = 3 13 = 4 14 = 5 15 = 6 16 = 7 17 = 8 18 = 9
19 = 1 20 = 2 21 = 3 22 = 4 23 = 5 24 = 6 25 = 7 26 = 8 27 = 9
28 = 1 29 = 2 30 = 3 31 = 4 32 = 5 33 = 6 34 = 7 35 = 8 36 = 9


So, it is very simple. Return to the RNG, the software uses these numbers to perform certain operations. You always have to think of results, if a two digit number appears you have to convert it instantly.

Place 2:1 outside bets on the number, but only one of them. (So either EVEN/ODD or RED/BLACK or LOW/HIGH)

example: number 21 spinned, which is equal to 3. It is an odd number so place a bet on the odd bet. But instead of the odd you can place it on the RED bet or the LOW bet. It is important to place the bet on another number every time instead of getting stuck with only one.

If you are done with this, look for the corresponding number in the chart for the above mentioned number. So if you look at the chart and number 21 spinned which is equal to 3 then corresponding numbers are: 3 - 12 - 21 - 30 and place a bet on these numbers!

Place 2x the amount on outside bets as you did with all the rest. Looking back at the previous example once again: 4 toke goes to the ODD bet, 2 token goes these numbers ( 3 - 12 - 21 - 30)
Any of the numbers spin you win.

Here there’s another strategy:

Let’s say we have spinned number 15. Let’s separate the two digits: 1 and 5. The difference between the numbers is 4 after switching the two digits. (RNG does not cover 0 )
So you have to work with the absolute value of numbers and use only positive numbers.
Example: spinned 15 = 5 - 1 = 4
The next number is 4 (very high %)
Example: the last two spined are : 17 and 19. 17=1+7=8 ? 19=9-1= 8 they both have 8 as a result.
RNG does not use numbers higher than 9 so leave the decimal.
So you can make addition, subtraction and multiplication:

Spinned

4 and 22 ( 4 = 4 -> 22 = 2*2 = 4 )

Spinned

26 and 14 ( 26 = 6 - 2 = 4 - > 14 = 1 * 4 = 4 )
etc.

so here is the final chart:

How do you interpret this last chart?

Would this mean that( for the first line of the chart), whenever any combination of 2 numbers from this line was spun in sequence you would bet 2x more than the previous bet on numbers on the numbers 1,10,19 and 28 and 2x more than the previous bet of the outside bets on the opposite of the outside bets (and outside bet being 2x more than the bets on those numbers)?


Well if I understood that correctly, then still, where does the logic that this will lower the house edge come from? Aren't RNG based mainly on timestamps, I can't see how you could help predict the outcome of the next spin by this play of numbers. Also I can't see how alternating between betting on red/black would make a difference as it's a no-memory game.

Not to mention that if a different seed is used each time then it is basically impossible to predict the next number. 


I've done some tests a few years ago when I created a somewhat similar method of "doubling up" bets (though I used a different multiplier than 2) and then trying alternating on what I bet on based on the previous results. Tested it in a few online casinos and after tens of thousands of plays I've had results that showed significant increase in getting to say 500$ from 50$ and the results seemed so consistent that I thought I had cracked roulette lol. The chances of being as consistent as I was were too small for me to consider it a coincidence. So I wrote a test program in Java using just the basic RNG (without seeds) which in the end proved that the house edge was unchanged and I was just extremely lucky in my tests. Main point being that I've used the simplest of RNG and the numbers didn't change no matter if I alternated bets, looked at history of up to 100 results, etc. that I doubt some simple play of numbers can have any chance of predicting the next outcome even when using the basic RNGs that for example PHP offers.


I just can't see how this can be something more than another variation of silly betting strats that gives people the illusion of working.
