We can't continue with this script. Building one from the ground up would require quite some programming time we can better use somewhere else probably. Most people wouldn't join in the future anyway, as we had big problems today and missed a first deadline. They don't read all of this and thus think it's MTV alone that made this into a failure, while this time it has not really anything to do with MTV and its coders.

bigbadmooseknix the chat is only being posted so everyone knows what is going on. If Brian is crazy enough to get upset about it then he has a major problem. as far as i know no one is going over in his forum trashing him about this so far. Though it does sound like a good idea. Nah Marc i am not going to do it. 1. You can tell people what's going on without posting private conversations. 2. What exactly do you accomplish by insulting him? Will it make the script suddenly work?

doesnt matter if its Brians fault...thats why you postponed the launch for one week. to have time, to test it and see if it everything works. If it didnt work, just cancel the launch. you cant offically start a product, where people money is involed with this kind of error.well done

As I mentioned in another thread, many mods have been testing it in multiple rounds with direct interaction with the programmers. We can't test it with 100's of users signing up and sending together. You'd think that a script works if someone sells it and other sites use it, right?

felibaudino the only damaged i suffered from this whole mess i dont think you mods or support can fix that is a major head ache from laughing so hard at this whole mess. Sometime i wonder if MTV goal in life is to out do it last mistake. That being said i still support the team. I am sure they continue to find other way to being money into the company after they clean up the mess this become. My only question is why did no one thing it would be a good idea to scrap the project at the first sign of trouble? red flag one. Then a month later we still have not got a engine for our car. red flag number two. Yet we choose to ignore these red flags and keep going on with the program. Then red flag or should i say nuclear bomb goes off on launch date. Which leave a crate in MTV repetition for anyone that might have just joined or was thinking of joining. Refunding the money is a great step to repairing that but a little common sense could have prevent the whole mess to start with.

Guys, many things happened behind the scenes, and we tested the page a lot, but the script just couldn't handle so many donations at once and it messed up, something we couldn't test/prevent.We know this was a mistake and we are assuming the responsibility, we will refund everyone and move on from this.

vecors i think you mistaking on that one. I rarely talk to you know who on fb. Once in a blue moon i will comment on one of his post and most of the time when i do it is something negitive. The last post of his i remember commenting on was when he was talking about the price of bitcoins. You are very very well mistaking if you think I am in any kind of deal with him. I support this site and it efforts wholeheartedly but i am going to give you all a kick in the butt be you all do something as crazy as this and ignore all the warning sign that were out there before launch.Why would you except someone that in almost the same business as you to give you a product that going to make your site better then his. Not that i ever check his out i am just assuming from it name it got to be pretty close to the same idea we have here.

freak300 correct on i could not do it myself but i would have the common sense to first not use someone that has another money making program online and at best a spotty reputation on delivering what he promises. If by some chance i passed that safeguard. When i seen the first sign of trouble i would have aborted the project. The whole idea in getting Brian to do it in the first place was he was suppose to save our programmers some work. Sound like he cost everyone alot more work then if we had tried to write it with our own team. Worst part is nothing can be salvaged from whole mess cause if Marc choice to do what he should have done in the first place and have our team come up with a program like this most people would already be turned off by it.

hm doesn't Brian know that if he treat customers like that he is killing he's own business?and fact say that his business doesn't make alot of money as dividends are near zero, all goes to expenses in the accounting sheet, this has continued in months since he started the business... and no news about script sales since months only silence...let him know what he deserve a blow in the face back, quote "i'm not sorry" what is that for answer to customers and no responsibillity for script updates to fix he's own scripts

Hi Guys. I was here for the launch and had to leave about an hour afterwards. I just got back and read through pages of messages.So the script ended up being a dud. It happens.. Is it Brian's fault? Possibly, probably, definitely, etc... but that's not really important. The important thing is how you deal with it. Do we band together and minimize the damage done to each other as a team, or do we take a 'forget this' stance, blame someone and try to take what we can from it [because we deserve it]? Did it piss a lot of people off? Absolutely! Anyone who has known Marc for a while knows he is a proud man and takes his reputation and his word seriously, so one can only imagine how throw down, mess up and [insert your favorite angry action here] he must feel right now. Me... I'm simply disappointed, but I'm also an extremely patient thoughtful man. I think things over and work out solutions. I don't know if the current script is fixable or scrapable. I love the idea, though, and I would really love to try this product again with this script fixed or some other script, if necessary. I'm sure many of you agree with that statement. So, with that in mind, let's focus on collectively cleaning up the mess made today and move on to a better tomorrow with a new, improved chance to try this again someday.

I don't know if Freak300 and Bikerleszno already repaid all of the payments, but other than that I think we got it pretty much all covered.We still have a few who paid Laptoplife and Ronny_invest, but I will contact those myself and I think those won't be a problem.
