Hello there, I found this site via PV project and I love what you are doing here.

Now to my suggestion. I would very much like to contact my downline and other users directly, but I am a bit uncomfortable with the fact that I can see the email addresses of the users who were referred by me. I'd rather contact them through an internal messaging system of PV/MTV than per E-Mail.

It would be possible to introduce this system as a new product in the portfolio and make it profitable. The main idea would be to take a very small fee per message to prevent mass spamming and make some profit off it.

If this system gets introduced, I'd love to see an option to pay the "return fee" in advance for the recepient of my message. Say I want to contact someone who just joined through me to show him/her the ropes. I have to pay say $0.02 to send a message to them, but I can also pay $0.04 to remove the fee for them, so they can answer me without spending money (which they won't have since they just joined). This way MTV gets double fee, wether the recipient answers or not and the sender makes it more likely to actually get an answer back.

The fee has to be low, since there can be long conversations, but even with the low fee there would be some profits, because there will be many messages going around.

Of course there should be some measures to prevent mass spamming and abuse. Basic measure could be a buddy system and receiving any messages from people not on your buddy list should be optional (off by default) with a notification that you've got a message but no need to read it. The referral and their "master" should be buddies by default, until one of them deletes the other from the buddy list.

There is a lot of room for more options and upgrades to this system, but of course there are also some risks, so this is just an idea I'm kicking out there.

Yea, I did have a similar system in mind before. A paid messaging system; that required your downline to reply in order to unlock the payment.

We'll get back to this idea in a few months. No time right now, and too few users.

I like this idea but instead the recipient gets paid after reading. Then to get paid they would need to send an acceptable reply showing they paid attention and did actually read the message.

0.02$ per message is expensive, something like 0.001$ or 0.0005$ per message would be more acceptable, which can be returned via lowest PV ads, you gotta think of free members to use this feature too.

Well I am a free member, but you are probably right. Depending on how many messages a particular conversation has, it might well eat up all of the days earnings for beginners. The prices are certainly a thing that should be tested and changed depending on the feedback.
