Yaqweds Traffic Value: $13,423.66104 Slovenia 4 like this post 0 people 02/09/2016 17:22 I'm wondering why we still don't have a Jackpot here at MTV community? I remember lotto, not sure what happened but it was another source of income. Anyways, I've come up with a copy version of Eurojackpot with a little different money distribution. As many of you know, ticket for Eurojackpot costs 2,20€ ($2.47) and there is a 10 million € prize guaranteed in the first round. I would ignore the latter, at least initially, later could be set some opening sum... The rules would remain the same as they are for Eurojackpot. You pick 5 numbers among 50 numbers in the first pot and 2 bonus numbers among 10 numbers in the second pot. 50% of ticket price goes to MTV for dev. funds or whatever, 50% to the pool. Here is the winning list, don't know a percentage for each prize. I didn't search for it. 5+2 Jackpot 5+1 5+0 4+2 4+1 4+0 3+2 2+2 3+1 3+0 1+2 2+1 Since I know $1.00 is high price for one ticket, I thought for example $1.00 could be a max. like a standard amount and $0.10 could be a min. Let me explain it. You buy a ticket at whatever price you want in between those two amounts. If you buy a ticket let's say for $0.50, $0.25 gets MTV, the other half goes to the big prize. If you win (assuming jackpot is $10000) you don't get $10000, instead you win $5000, another $5000 transfers to next round. Just look at the percent share. For paying $0.80 you'd get $8000 and so on. The same goes for other - smaller winnings. The max. ticket price could be higher but winnings would be inversely smaller. With that ticket price range I think most of users would participate in a game and at the same time we'd still maintain a reasonable jackpot. However, I'm still confused why something similar hasn't been implemented yet, I think it doesn't cost much and can be done in a relatively short period of time or...? Ok ratje, as I said, I think that this is not a huge project to implement, neither is costly.. and we have much more users than back then. In my opinion many people would rather buy a ticket for MTV Jackpot than play slots and try to win it there. Still, majority of users don't 'gamble' but you know, when you look at 4, 5 digit number somewhere on the site as a reward, it makes people buy it with one click or so, you need time and nerves for playing... Now imagine ccarlosdulce we "lend" $5000 to MTV, $1 each user.. We win a jackpot and MTV gets $2500 (50% or whatever percentage), $2500 is divided among users so each user gets back $0.5. It's not really a jackpot since you even lose $0.5 You can always buy multiple ticket for yourself, like in lotto or any kind of game with jackpot. I think everyone can come up with ideas that are good for the site. I just don't think the focus right now is implementation of new ideas.
