The total invested is $16,619 and if those investments complete, MTV are due $21,601.10. However the investors are currently happy to accept $17,385.95. I appreciate this sort of money is not just sitting around, but wiping $21.6k of debt from the FTQ for $17.4k would be a pretty good win. Fixed Ads now has the same price at PV and PS. PV delivers about 11,000 visits, while PS delivers 8000 visits daily. AA at PS has much lower value than PV's, and the difference will be even greater after the changes, what will probably result in even less visits daily. So I think there should be another incentive for watching AA ads, like making it part of the achievements and referral ad issues (currently only paid ads are counted). And maybe the price of FA at PTCShare could be lower. Even with current free BAP giveaway, it currently takes ~180 days to reach the second group which has slightly higher ad issues than previous group - 3/10ths of a cent, which is just insignificant. It is much faster to increase your BAP by immediately buying $1 BA when you collect enough cash, which will now be even better, and actually provide a much better ROI for free users, and users in the lower groups. I.e. this change will increase ROI on BAP bought with BAs for basically all groups up to 180k+ significantly, making these groups earnings' slightly more attractive. Fact is the free BAP given out with current sales is not sustainable as the ad issues are so small, we can't clear up the free BAP with ads in the first place. These changes will help tip the balance back, and provide some additional benefits mention in the announcement, which we are hoping will slowly allow us to make things slightly more attractive. There's never a certainty with how things will end up unfolding in the real world, but it's the most balanced updated we can do, that has some guaranteed benefits, and additional possible upsides - i.e. slightly more sales each month. Even if it doesn't result in more sales, we are at least tipping the balance of BAP debt reduction, which is always a positive long term change. @hopvscape I'm not sure what you mean should be vice-versa? We do want new users to get more free BAP to help retain them - if we don't retain them and they leave, then their extra BAP will get cleaned up and not have an effect on the system anyway. Giving free BAP to users who stay with the system is the problem, as it keeps compounding slowly and if ad issues are tiny like they are we can't clean it up fast enough, so the issue slowly snowballs. @dguy The change will be effective immediately on September 1st yes. We were planning to get the announcement out a week sooner, but then I got sick and a week passed. Originally we even wanted this update out on August 1st, but couldn't get it ready in time. And we don't want to postpone it another month.
