This topic is meant to figure out how many of your would be interested in such a product/feature built by MTV, and what sort of realistic funds we could expect from our current community, so we can decide if idea is worth further pursuing and ultimately implementing. Please don't like/dislike the topic before reading through this post fully. Advertisement pool managed by MTV I will only present basic concept here, without going into too much detail how ti would all work and be managed. I. Basic implementation The idea is for MTV to gather and manage an Advertisment pool from members, to promote any/all subsidiaries of MTV on behalf of the members who choose to contribute to it. Basically users could decide to add any amount of money to the pool, decide which promotion of subsidiary website of MTV (any/all - PV, MTV, BMF, PPMG, PBG...) they'd like to be a part of with that money, and leave the rest of work to MTV staff to handle. The money from the advertisement pool would be managed by versed staff to organize best possible marketing campaigns with it, and give every user the best chances of gaining referrals at their chosen subsidiary sites. All of the links/banners would be managed via rotation, so no matter how much money you chip in (huge or small), you will get your share of the views/impressions/clicks/referrals, relative to the sum of money you have dedicated to the pool. What's the point of all this? - The bigger advertisement budget there is, the better deals we can get when using the marketing budget - Ever wanted to spend money on advertisements and try to refer to one of the sites, but you don't have the patience, the expertise, the will to manage or simply don't know where to start? Leave all of that to us to get better results than you ever could on your own! - MTV covers the costs related to managing the advertisement pool and helps to incentivize members to promote the subsidiaries. Everyone wins - you get hassle free referrals and help contribute and expand the MTV empire! II. Expansions of the idea and options to make it into a service/profitable product The first expansion is more of a "community nature", where anyone could choose to "donate" their money for someone's else referral link to be promoted and try and help them get their own referrals. Either, donate some budget to your referrals as help, sponsors as gift, or any other member of the MTV community you adore/value and would like to help them or show them some appreciation for their contribution to the community by giving them a surprise of potential referrals! The next potential step is to expand this service for MTV to create and manage cost-effective advertising pools of any website/service/product out there - in which case MTV would take some managing fee to cover the costs and create some platform profits. Big advertising pools and versed marketing people managing it, can outperform any efforts of an individual running a small campaign, so there's good chances the service would be well sought-after in the online marketing & affiliate world. ----------------- So there is a short re-cap of the idea, but what we now need to know and determine, is to get an idea of how many members would be interested in using such service, as that would also help us determine if we would be able to run this service for subsidiary promotion completely FEE-free (100% of advertising pool used for purchase of advertisement, and 0 for management), which would be our goal. 1.) If you ARE INTERESTED, please take a minute and reply with some more information: - Would you be looking to use the service regularly or just as one-time/on-occasions service? (i.e. just once, weekly, monthly, a few times per year...) - How much money do you think you would be willing to spend in such a service, and how often? (i.e. $1 once, $1 every day/week/month, $100 one-time, $1000 when a program I like launches...) - Would you be interested in using such a service merely for promotion of subsidiary sites, or also for promotion and gain of referrals on websites completely unaffiliated with MTV? I see that they offer guaranteed Referrals at $1 each, or $0.5 if you spend $1000. It lasts a month, and these are the min guarantees. I say that to let you get an idea for the pricing of such an idea. I'm glad you expand it to other sites, thus similar to other coops that exist that I see in TE's. Though, from what I see, they just all share the same link and randomly get their individual link(s) shared at sites they don't go to/don't go to often enough to advertise themselves. That PIF, to anyone is also a nice idea. Also means, no need for a donate button, anyone serious enough can say I donate X amount to "portfolio" or "paidverts", if they are so inclined to donate to the site to help keep it afloat. ______________ I'm willing to spend nice portions of my funds (wish there was a PM ref link for US members), on a regular basis, provided I get a profit, at least on avg. I don't trust myself to spend advertising budget properly, so it's nice if FBG will handle that for me. Heck, as a test, I could probably be willing to donate 5-15% of all cash that hits my account. Many people don`t know where and how to effectively advertise their links. Leaving that in the hands of MTV might work well. A good portion of the budget is still being used on active campaigns, and is yet to be utilized in full. I'd imagine next Monday we should have a good base of data to make a report on, perhaps some smaller findings to share even before that. This will for sure make us bigger. I'm in! I was already thinking of promoting subsidiaries in a near future and a trusted co-op really comes in hand. If I wanted to promote my sites and my site would be in a pool, I would join of course.  But why exactly would we build this if we are not taking a fee? How do we earn then? However, later on Andraz states they could open this up to other sites, but a fee included, at least one to pay the staff that maintains the product itself. I think if you do this one of the sites you should make a deal with is Neobux. Practically any site you plug in there will get referrals but the advertising is expensive. I think you will only be able to advertise PV in there. I don't think the TOS will allow gambling sites. If you guys do start advertising I think another site that would be effective for signups and users at neobux would be BMF. I'm pretty sure many of their members use other payment processors there like BTC and would like to transfer cash so they could use it at NB. A long term ad campaign should do well
